Antique silhouette of a gentleman in a top hat, c. 1870s. The man’s features are sketched in gold pencil, giving him character and depth. Antique frame with wooden backing. A handsome portrait of a dandy in profile, and a rare example with his tall stovepipe hat and drawn features.
