Sold: 1910 Workwear Pocket Notebook

1910 Keystone railroad workwear advertising pocket notebook and calendar. With illustrations printed in the color of blue denim, the vintage trade stimulator is like a miniature menswear advertising catalog, with a few pictures of the “Keystone Railroad Special Coat” and the “Keystone Railroad Special Apron” (which is a pair of overalls). The inner pages are mostly blank, ready for notes, calendar entries and railroad time tables, but also include a great depiction of the Cleveland & Whitehill Co. workwear factory in Newburgh, NY and an illustration of a family of kids clad in Keystone “Overalls & Rompers.” A great piece of rare early American workwear ephemera, and a potential design source for denim and menswear designers.
