Sold: Salesman Sample Ladder

Antique and rare two-foot tall salesman sample or patent model extension ladder, c. 1870s. Realistic wooden construction and wrought iron hardware. Closed, the ladder measures just over two feet tall; extended, it reaches to over three and a half feet. The piece is in good condition with a couple of minor repairs that are not visible without close inspection. A fun and unusual salesman sample miniature which would make a worthy addition to a collection or stands alone as a sculptural antique object.

Good antique condition with typical wear to wood and a couple of unnoticeable repairs (a split has been glued).
