Sold: Hollow Dice
Set of three matched hollow dice / tin / c. 1900
Three antique dice in the rare form of hollow pressed tin, c. turn of the 20th century. The dice were cut from one piece of tin with punched pips and folded like a cardboard box to create a hollow interior. The pip holes allow one to look through the tin skin. An inventive and evocative form (and as a collector of dice, they’re a rare find).
Condition
Very good antique condition with oxidization to metal (see photos).
Measurements
