Sold: Heartstricken Postcard

Description

With one face scratched out and the message obliterated, this postcard pasted with photographs of two young men never reached the mailman. Was it a summer romance? Unrequited love? Their erased relationship is remembered here only in the bleak “View of Ripogenus Dam” and an angry purple scribble cloud — obscuring whatever moment of closeness, real or illusory, the unsent postcard sought to deliver.
