Reverse-painted glass pen advertising sign / professionally framed / c. 1880s

“Livermore’s New Stylographic Pen” reverse-painted glass advertising sign, c. 1880s. I found this antique sign unframed, glass alone, and due to its fragility had it professionally framed. The silver-toned frame giving it the appearance of a period finish.

Condition

Good antique condition, with some paint loss but the glass is backed with black mat which enhances its antique patina.
