Antique Victorian bronze butterfly plaque with removable mounting bolt, likely once an architectural wall anchor, c. 1880s. The mounting bolt is removable. Hangs equally well on the wall or freestanding on a shelf. A beautiful and one of a kind example of Aesthetic Movement architectural design.
