Exceptional antique carved folk art miniature wooden chain, c. late 19th century. Each link is only three quarters of an inch long and carved in uniform style. Clearly from the hand of a master woodcarver. A marvel of skill and intention, it’s hard to imagine the time and focus available today for such a whimsical pursuit.
