Jointed dog pull toy / painted wood, brass hinges / c. 1930s

Antique folk art dog pull toy, c. 1930s. With its hinged body, the dog moves with an exaggerated wag like an excited pup as you pull it forward. Black canvas ears. Great old paint. One of my favorite homemade toys I’ve found.

Very good antique condition showing the wear of a well-loved toy.
