Victorian Circus Toy

Description

Antique “High Jumpers” circus-themed toy, c. late nineteenth century. Pine components with vibrant color lithograph applied paper. With its fun graphics and delicate construction, the game is a rare survivor.

Well-played with condition. The wood is fragile due to age and shows a couple of minor splits. The springboard itself is no longer springy since the wood has dried over time.
