Sold: Salesman Sample Rug Beaters

Description

A group of six tiny salesman sample wire rug beaters, c. early 1900s. Each measures under five inches tall. The rug beaters are handmade and bent into different sculptural forms. A wonderful collection capturing the variety and creativity of turn-of-the-century industrial design.

Condition

Good condition. Mounted to an old panel (and easily removed).
