Purity Druggist Sign

Description

Stained glass apothecary sign assuring “Purity” in its compounded drugs, c. late nineteenth century. The leaded glass sign is composed of polychrome slag glass centered on a milk glass panel inset with the image of the mortar and pestle and block lettering. A rare trade sign.

Condition

Very good with a few cracked sections of the colored slag glass. Structurally sound and ready to hang.
