Pie Face Whistles

Antique party whistles, c. early 20th century. Remarkable survivors, the ephemeral objects somehow escaped use for over a century. The whistles have wooden mouthpieces stamped “Germany” and have painted pie-like crimped ends, with hand-painted faces and frown-like cutout mouths attached to string (which can be pulled to adjust the volume of sound). Just pure fun.
