Parcheesi Board

Description

Parcheesi and checker board, hand-painted wood, American, c. fourth quarter 19th century. Red and white paint on rich mustard ground, with white star motifs painted on “Home” center of the Parcheesi side. 

Condition

Good, with honest surface wear from play. Two chips to board at corners inside frame (happens to make it easier to hang).
