Sold: Odd Fellows Plaque

Odd Fellows fraternal plaque with skull and crossbones c. 1890s. Cast iron, probably nickel plated. Great graphics with Odd Fellows symbols in relief. I don’t know what this would have been used for (though I like to think it was an early bumper sticker indicating membership of the owner of a horse-drawn carriage). A rare fraternal object with a handsome patina, displays well on shelf or wall-mounted.

Approximately 8 inches wide, 10 inches tall.
