Millinery Irons

Description

Rare set of French millinery irons used in the design and production of ladies hats. In use, they would be individually placed inside the circular iron stand which would conduct heat from a stove. Now with a contemporary custom wooden stand lining them up in a row, the irons are striking sculptural objects, each with an organic quality evoking the stems of flowers.
