Handmade Submarine

Description

Of a form reflecting turn-of-the-century submarine design, this miniature sub was once tub-worthy. Although no longer functional, evidence of a clockwork mechanism is visible inside the hull. The design and material make it a candidate for the Navy equivalent of Trench Art and the product of repurposed artillery shells.

Condition

Good, with missing front nose hatch (see pictures) and incomplete interior mechanism.
