Sold: Fossilized Wedding Cake

Description

Found in the attic of a Victorian home, this piece of wedding cake was carefully wrapped in paper and tied with silk ribbon as a matrimonial memento. With a shelf life of a century or more, the ephemeral object is now a rock-hard fossil glistening with crystalized sugar and the memories of a forgotten couple.
