Developing Snowfall

Description

Wintry cabinet card of two children bundled up for an artificial blizzard as rendered in the darkroom. To achieve the illusion of polkadot precipitation in the studio, the photographer altered the glass negative with hand-painted snowflakes, creating a simulated winter wonderland.
