Description

In order to fashion this oversized pointing hand, the creator of this make-do trade sign cut down a 1910s porcelain sign advertising the St. Louis Automobile Club. Viewed from the back or front, the makeshift sign is a fantastic piece of folk art advertising.

 

Condition

The unusual trade sign has plenty of character and is weathered with minor patches of rust.
