Sold: Copper Flash Stereoscope
For your three-dimensional stereoviewing pleasure, an antique stereoscope viewer in a rare japanned copper flash finish, c. 1900. Stamped “The Perfecscope” and retailed by the H.C. White Company. Bold copper flashing upside and down. Folding wooden handle. Excellent optics. A useful viewer for antique stereoview cards, but a sculptural object in its own right.

Condition
Good antique condition, with occasional surface corrosion in spots, namely in the area around the lip of the viewer, when at one time a strip of fabric lined the edge and left glue residue. See photos.
