Bee Still Life

Folk art oil on canvas of a still life of fruit with bee, Maine, c. mid- or late 19th century. Perfectly imperfect. With chipped paint and the canvas peeling from the stretcher, the barn-found piece is timeworn for the best. A lovely antique naive painting and exquisitely aged found object.

Condition

Time-tossed with spots of flaked paint, peeling at edges of canvas, rickety stretcher. Hangs well with new hardware.
