Description
Early automobile driving goggles with amber lenses, c. 1910s. I’ve never seen these crazy-shaped lenses before. Gold-filled wire frames with temples that loop around your ear to keep the glasses in place (for those hair-raising turns in your 1912 Hupmobile). Original case included. In excellent, practically new condition, these one-hundred-year-old specs still feel high-style and fresh to a contemporary eye today.
Recently acquired from an important private collection of antique eyewear.
