Pair of antique English watercolors of naval warships, probably painted by sailor, c. early 19th century. Notes on the reverse of the miniature paintings indicate the watercolors were taken from the sketchbook of Jinny Edgcumbe. The skillfully rendered watercolors depict ships of the line at sea and are framed in antique lemon gold and ebonised frames.
Very good condition, with typical wear to frames.
