Sold: Haberdasher’s Sign

Antique painted wooden haberdasher’s sign, c. 1890s. The three and a half foot long sign has great hand-painted lettering and ornament with touches of orange color. Originating in Nashua, New Hampshire, it advertises “Rubber Coats and Umbrellas at Floyd Bros. Clothing Co. 125 Main Street Nashua.” The piece is in weathered condition with handsome patina from many years outdoors. A rare survivor.
