Sold: Guillotine Cigar Cutter
Antique handmade guillotine cigar cutter c. 1920s. Faithfully replicating a guillotine in miniature, this cigar cutter is just the thing to remind you of your own mortality each time you’d like a stogie. The steel blade is raised by a string which upon release falls to cut the cigar placed within the hole. A fun and one of kind piece for the gentleman who has everything.
15 inches tall, 14.5 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. The hole for the cigar is 5/8 of an inch wide.
Excellent antique condition with a handsome vintage patina. The string is currently shortened, but can be lengthened to make the guillotine operable.
