Exquisite folk art carving of a miniature Victorian lady’s shoe, c. 1880s. Beautiful antique patina and charmingly eccentric form, with exaggerated features such as the impossibly pointy toe and elongated sloping heel. Detailed down to the stitching and brass shoelace eyelets. A wonderful piece of late 19th century folk art sculpture.
Good antique condition, with some paint loss and other age-related wear (please see photos).
