Four-sided tin cookie cutter with animal shapes, c. 1930s. Unusual cookie cutter in a strikingly sculptural cube form. Each side has a different animal cutout: bunny, pig, sheep, and so on. The cube is cage-like, but its constraints are external, demarcating the shapes of what it creates. Patent number dates it to 1934.
Well used with antique patina (complete with historical cookie dough).
