The Portsmouth store – located in the heart of the historic downtown – features a curated selection of antiques and vintage habersdashery. The collection of eclectic antiques is guided by an eye for objects of curious delight, and includes Americana, folk art, advertising, architectural salvage, lighting, toys and more, with a focus on the late 19th and early 20th century. Vintage menswear is our speciality, and Old as Adam stocks classic vintage clothing and accessories from the 19th century to the 1960s, including suits, hats, ties, outerwear, formalwear, hunting, sportswear, military, and accessories such as cuff links and watches, all with an interest in rare and exceptional examples.
Often open Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings, by chance during the week, or by appointment.
Feel free to contact Adam if you’d like to visit the shop.
